Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd. established a gas chromatography method for the determination of epichlorohydrin residues in pharmaceuticals. Methods A certain amount of samples were taken and added to the headspace bottle as the internal standard. After heating at 60 ℃ for 5 min, 1 ml of the headspace was taken for gas chromatography analysis. The gas chromatography was equipped with HH-wax chromatographic analysis column, the detector temperature was 280 ℃; the column temperature was 80 ℃ constant temperature, the makeup gas flow rate was 30 ml/min, the carrier gas was nitrogen, and the flow rate was 1.0 ml/min. Results Dichloromethane and epichlorohydrin could be separated well. The optimal headspace conditions were heated at 60℃ and the heating time was 5 min. The detection limit of this method was 0.00001 mg/L, and the standard curve was Y= 0.124X-0.025, the linear range was 0.0001 mg/L~0.01 mg/L, the correlation coefficient r=0.9998, the relative standard deviation (RSD) of intra-day precision and inter-day precision was within the range of 5.7%~8.2%. Conclusion The method is simple and sensitive, and can be used for the determination of epichlorohydrin residues in medicines.
