Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd. proposed a gas chromatography analysis method for the determination of formic acid content in industrial glacial acetic acid. Using sebacic acid/GDX103 as stationary phase, using thermal conductivity detector and using ethyl acetate as internal standard for quantification, the measured results are very close to the results of chemical analysis, and the minimum detection amount can reach 0.13 μg , with satisfactory accuracy and precision.
