GB/T 7492-1987 Water Quality 666. Determination of DDT Gas Chromatography This standard applies to the analysis of 666 and DDT in surface water, groundwater and some sewage. In this method, petroleum ether is used to extract hexachloropyridine and DDT, and after purification, it is determined by gas chromatograph with an electron capture detector. When used together differently, the detection range of the method is different. r-666 is usually detected up to 4ng/L, and DDT can be detected up to 200ng/L. Organic compounds such as organophosphorus pesticides, unsaturated hydrocarbons and phthalates in the sample also respond to the electron capture identification instrument, and these interfering substances can be removed by concentrated sulfuric acid.
