Sulfur dichloride is directly prepared from industrial sulfur and liquid chlorine The optimum process conditions for the synthesis of zui were determined: the initial reaction temperature was 100 ～ 110 ℃, the chlorine gas flow time (i.e. reaction time) was 6 h, the chlorine gas flow rate was 75 L/h, the refining distillation temperature was 60 ～ 64 ℃, and the amount of stabilizer phosphorus trichloride was 0.1% ～ 0.3%. Under this process condition, the yield of sulfur dichloride could reach over 82%
