The initial rate and final yield of alkyl glycosides decrease with the growth of alkyl alcohol carbon chains, with the exception of methyl glycosides, as methanol is harmful to enzymes.







Haohan Chromatography uses gas chromatography (GC) to determine the composition of alkyl glycosides. The relative weight correction factors of glycerol, dodecanol, d-glucose, butyl monoglycoside, and dodecyl monoglycoside were determined using n-dodecane as the internal standard, and the various components in alkyl glycoside were quantified. The sample measurement data showed that the relative error was within 7%, and the coefficient of variation was not more than 2%.
