本法系用气相色谱法（通则0521）测定酒剂或酊剂等含乙醇制剂中甲醇的含量。除另有规定外，按下列方法测定。
 

色谱条件与系统适用性试验 用直径为0.18～0.25mm的二乙烯苯-乙基乙烯苯型高分子多孔小球作为载体；柱温125℃。理论板数按甲醇峰计算应不低于1500；甲醇峰、乙醇峰与内标物质各相邻色谱峰之间的分离度应符合规定。

校正因子测定 精密量取正丙醇1ml，置100ml量瓶中，用水溶解并稀释至刻度，摇匀，作为内标溶液。另精密量取甲醇1ml，置100ml量瓶中，用水稀释至刻度，摇匀，精密量取10ml，置100ml量瓶中，精密加入内标溶液10ml，用水稀释至刻度，摇匀，取1μl注入气相色谱仪，连续进样3～5次，测定峰面积，计算校正因子。

测定法 精密量取内标溶液1ml，置10ml量瓶中，加供试液至刻度，摇匀，作为供试品溶液，取lμl注入气相色谱仪，测定，即得。

除另有规定外，供试液含甲醇量不得过0.05% （ml/ml） 。
