The determination of trace amounts of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide in polymer grade ethylene propylene by gas chromatography was carried out using a portable methane conversion furnace with cutting back blowing developed by Haohan Chromatography. The area external standard method was used for quantification, overcoming the interference of high content of ethylene and propylene.
