In order to implement the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, prevent and control ecological environment pollution, improve ecological environment quality, and standardize the determination methods of total hydrocarbons, methane, and non methane total hydrocarbons in fixed pollution source exhaust gas, this standard is formulated. This standard specifies a portable catalytic oxidation hydrogen flame ionization detector method for determining total hydrocarbons, methane, and non methane total hydrocarbons in organized emissions from fixed pollution sources. Appendix A of this standard is an informative appendix. This standard is being released for the first time.
