A gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method was established for the detection of residual 2,4 chloroisooctyl ester in wheat and soil samples using Haohan chromatography. 2,4 chloroisooctyl ester in wheat plants, wheat grains, and soil was extracted and concentrated by acetone solution homogenization, and then determined by GC-MS after reaching a certain volume. The results showed that this detection method has the characteristics of simple operation and high sensitivity, and can fully meet the residual detection of 2,4 chloroisooctyl ester in wheat and soil
