Phthalic anhydride is produced by the catalyzed oxidation of o-xylene (ox), in the process of catalytic oxidation will occur many side reactions and incomplete reaction, impurity of how much it will directly affect the yield of product quality and phthalic anhydride. Fast and accurate analysis of crude phthalic anhydride impurities and ortho xylene content, thus better guidance and adjustment of production is very important. Conventional titration analysis is unable to detect various impurities.
A method for the determination of Tengzhou City Xiangying Analysis Technology Co., Ltd. established XiangyingGC7990plus gas chromatography determination of phthalic anhydride impurities content of maleic anhydride. The samples were dissolved in acetonitrile, gas chromatography and external standard method. The results showed that maleic anhydride of the target in 0.25-15mg/L linear relations of good (r = 0.9998), the instrument detection limit was 0.1 mg / L (s / N = 3); in high, medium and low three spiked levels, the samples were spiked recovery experiments, the average recovery rate for 100.0%-103.7%, relative standard deviation (n = 6) 0.93%-4.3%. The present method is convenient, rapid and sensitive, and can be used for the determination of the content of maleic anhydride in the impurities of the two methyl anhydride.

滕州市翔鹰分析技术有限公司建立了XiangyingGC7990plus气相色谱法测定邻苯二甲酸酐中杂质马来酸酐含量的分析方法。样品用乙腈超声溶解,气相色谱仪检测,外标法定量。结果表明:目标物马来酸酐在0.25-15mg/L范围内线性关系良好(r为0.9998),仪器检测限为0.1mg/L(S/N=3);在高、中、低3个加标水平下,对样品进行加标回收实验,平均回收率为100.0%-103.7%,相对标准偏差(n=6)为0.93%-4.3%。本方法具有方便、快速、灵敏度高等特点,可用于邻苯二甲酸酐中杂质马来酸酐含量的测定。
