煤气中氨采用以上理化滴定法,操作复杂,费时费力,不环保,无法满足工业生产检测的需要,使用受限。

Based on the acid-base neutralization reaction, excess sulfuric acid solution is used to absorb ammonia-containing gas. Using methyl orange as an indicator, sodium hydroxide is used to titrate the free acid in the sample. Using the characteristic reaction between amino groups and formaldehyde, after adding formaldehyde, the H+ generated by the reaction is titrated with sodium hydroxide. This is a quantitative determination method for ammonia containing acidic gases.
The above physical and chemical titration method is used for ammonia in gas, which is complex to operate, time-consuming, laborious, not environmentally friendly, and cannot meet the needs of industrial production testing, thus limiting its use.
