Pore size and adsorption characteristics: The pore size of 13X molecular sieve is about 10 Å, which can effectively adsorb molecules with a critical diameter less than 10 Å. This allows it to adsorb not only permanent gases such as H ₂, O ₂, N ₂, CO, CH ₄, but also larger molecules such as aromatic hydrocarbons and chain hydrocarbons.
Activation (regeneration) conditions: Molecular sieves need to be activated before use or after adsorbing moisture and impurities to restore their performance. The common activation conditions are 12 hours at 250 ° C, 4 hours at 300 ° C, or 2 hours at 350 ° C.
