Tenax-Ta tube is an indispensable adsorption tube in the process of detecting air TVOC content. It must be used repeatedly during the detection process, but how long its service life is and whether repeated adsorption and desorption for a long time will affect the detection results.

The test method established by Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Applied Technology Development Co., Ltd. eliminates the problems of adsorption of container sampling and the difficulty of activated carbon sampling. It directly uses a sampling tube equipped with 0.5g Tenax-GC to collect and concentrate benzene, Toluene and xylene. After the sampling tube is connected to the analysis system, it is heated at 180°C, and the analysis components are introduced into the analysis system in full. When collecting 1 liter of gas sample, this method can measure 3 kinds of benzene series in the atmosphere at ppb level.
